The Athletic Communications/Sports Information Office coordinates the athletic department’s media relations efforts, including all media requests for interviews, photographs and social appearances. In addition, the department is responsible for the compilation and distribution of all statistics and records for each of Hudson Valley’s 20 varsity programs. 

Interviews/Photo Requests

• All interviews must be set up by a member of the Athletics Communications/Sports Information Office. Please contact Assistant Director of Athletics/Sports Information Director, Adam Sopris. This includes requests from newspapers and all other media outlets, including on-campus entities and student requests.

Media Credentials

• Media Credentials are required to cover all Hudson Valley Community College home sporting events, especially if you request access to the playing field/court prior to or at the conclusion of the event. For credentials to cover Hudson Valley Community College athletics, please contact Assistant Director of Athletics/Sports Information Direction, Adam Sopris
• Requests for to cover ANY Hudson Valley Athletics home event should be emailed to the appropriate communications representative prior to 12 p.m. on the date of the event so we can coordinate any requests in a timely manner.
• Hudson Valley Athletics reserves the right to refuse any credential request deemed not to be in the best interest of the College.

Branding/Style Guide          

• All branding/licensing and any designs, marks, or other digital or physical creations involving the Hudson Valley Community College, the department of athletics, branding must be done in accordance with the HVCC Brand Standard Guidelines and the HVCC Athletics Brand Standard Guidelines (PDF).

• The department of athletics maintains an official Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram account, which is run by the athletic communications/sports information department, in conjunction with the teams themselves. Parking (Campus Map)

• Basketball/Volleyball Events: Media attending competitions or practices on Hudson Valley Community College’s campus are encouraged to park in lot "E", off of North Road, right in front of the main entrance to the McDonough Sports Complex.
• Baseball/Lacrosse/Soccer/Softball/Track & Field Events: Parking may be attained in lot "L", located to the right of the main entrance to Joseph L. Bruno Stadium and adjacent to the practice field and the Outdoor Athletic Complex (home of football, soccer, lacrosse, track and field). The softball field is located behind the right field fence of Bruno Stadium, a short walk along the right field side.
