Bio

Julia Quinlan was hired as the assistant director of athletics on August 27, 2024. Quinlan assists the sports information office, which includes marketing and promoting the department’s 20 NJCAA programs and more than 350 student-athletes. Additionally, she assists the Communications and Marketing office, ensuring the quality and control of the department’s digital and social media platforms. Quinlan works closely with the Director of Athletics on program promotion, supervision and management of all athletic facilities.

The Hudson Valley native joined Hudson Valley Community College after working at SUNY New Paltz where she where she created digital media and graphic design content for the Athletics Department, while working directly with the Athletic Communications Office under the Senior Director of Athletic Communications.

Quinlan played lacrosse collegiately at SUNY Brockport and worked closely with the Sports Information Office, managing the Brockport Women’s Lacrosse social media accounts. She earned her bachelor’s degree in sport management, and a minor in graphic design from SUNY Brockport.
