Vikings Student-Athletes Earn National and Regional Academic Honors for 2024–25

The Hudson Valley Community College Athletics Department is celebrating a strong academic showing for the 2024–25 academic year, with 54 student-athletes earning a place on the NJCAA and Region 3 All-Academic Teams.

These awards recognize the hard work, dedication, and discipline required to balance athletic competition and academic success. Honorees came from nearly every varsity program, including football, softball, track and field, volleyball, soccer, esports and women's bowling.

Student-athletes were named to All-Academic Teams based on their cumulative grade point averages. The NJCAA awards honors at three levels:

• First Team – 4.00 GPA

• Second Team – 3.80–3.99 GPA

• Third Team – 3.60–3.79 GPA

In addition to individual awards, four Viking programs earned NJCAA and Region 3 Academic Team honors for maintaining a team GPA above 3.00:
Softball, Women's Bowling, Women's Volleyball, and Women's Track & Field.
