Women's Bowling Placed 12; Thomas Finished 25th Overall

The men's and women's bowling programs closed out their first tournament of the season as the men placed 12th (of 30) at the Keystone Quaker Classic and the women placed 12th (of 13) at the Lehigh Valley Classic, on Saturday in Allentown, Pa. 

Leading the way for the men's program was Anthony Hurlburt (Hoosick Falls / Hoosick Falls), who placed 35thoverall out of 217 qualified bowlers. Hurlburt totaled 947 pins and averaged 189.2 in each game.

Leading the way for the Vikings was Jordan Thomas (Lake Katrine / Kingston), who finished the tournament in 25th place overall with a score of 879 pins for a 175.8 average. 

The Vikings are back in action tomorrow, Sunday, Dec. 29 as they swap locations and tournaments. The men's team will now compete in the Lehigh Valley Classic, while the women will be competing in the Keystone Quaker Classic, both located in Allentown, Pa.
