Record Number of Vikings Garner Regional & National All-Academic Accolades

The NJCAA has announced the 2023-24 All-Academic Teams, recognizing student-athletes across the country for their dedication in the classroom. A record number of 40 Vikings student-athletes have been honored for achieving a grade point average of 3.60 or better, with seven individuals completing the academic year with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
The NJCAA Region 3 also announced its Academic All-Region recipients for the 2023-24 academic season, which highlighted a new program-record of 49 individuals who finished the year with a 3.50 cumulative GPA and accumulated at least 24 credits in the fall and spring semesters.
As a team, the department had five programs finish with a team grade point average above a 3.0. The men's golf program led all teams with a department-best 3.48 GPA and the women's volleyball program finished tallied the best women's team GPA with a 3.30.
