For the second consecutive year, the Hudson Valley Community College women's bowling team finished 2nd at the NJCAA Tournament in Buffalo. Hudson Valley finished third on the men's side.
Freshman Kristina Jenkins (East Greenbush/Columbia High School) earned All-America recognition after finishing second in the all-events standings with a 183.3 average. She won the national title in singles play with a 630 triple.
Freshman Kyle Haines (Altamont/Guilderland High School) won the singles title on the men's side for Hudson Valley. He rolled a 253 in the final game to finish with a 648 triple.
