Trailing 1-0, sophomore attacker Austin Hinderliter (Ephratah/Johnstown) put the Vikings on the board to tie the game at 1-1 with 12:26 remaining in the first quarter. Genesee responded with a 21-0 run before the Vikings put their second goal on the board when Nicholas Malatesta (North Greenbush/Averill Park) found the back of the net with 28 seconds left in the game.
