Trevor Green Named NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American

Hudson Valley Community College's men's basketball standout, Trevor Green (Troy/Lansingburgh) was named to the NJCAA All-America Honorable Mention Team as announced by the NJCAA and the NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball Committee on Tuesday afternoon.
Green just completed his second season with the Vikings, averaging 21.7 points per game (sixth in NJCAA), reached a career milestone as he became the fifth member of the men's basketball program to score 1,000 career points in two-seasons at the Valley. He accomplished the career feat in the Region 3 semifinal loss to top-seeded Mohawk Valley by scoring a game-high 23 points and was named to the NJCAA Region 3 All-Tournament Team.
Green played in 49 games during the last two seasons for Hudson Valley and finished with 1,004 career points, which places him fourth on the all-time scoring list. He sits behind HVCC Athletics Hall of Famers Ducey Hughes and Justin Gallo.
Trevor has etched his name in Hudson Valley's men's basketball record books as he was more than a prolific scorer. He was also a major defensive presence as he finished his career with 112 steals, which is fifth all-time in program history. He also sits eighth overall on the career rebounds list with 410 rebounds. Trevor was a great facilitator as the team's primary ball-handler. He tallied 195 career assists, which placed him eighth among the program's all-time assist leaders.
Green tremendous season was recognized by the Region 3 coaches as he was announced as a NJCAA Region 3 First Team honoree. He was earned Mountain Valley Conference First Team accolades as well.
