The Hudson Valley Community College cross country team finished eighth out of nine teams at the Airfield Invitational hosted by SUNY Oneonta.
Sophomore Sarah Popovics (Gorham, ME/Gorham High School) was Hudson Valley's top runner, finishing 41st out of 77 runners. She covered the 4,500 meter course in 19:51. Freshman Malerie Tillman (Nassau/Columbia High School) finished right behind her with a time of 19:54.
Hudson Valley will return to action on Saturday, September 22 when it competes in the Bard Invitational.
