The Hudson Valley Community College cross country team finished 13th out of 14 schools at the Vassar Invitational on Saturday. Hudson Valley was the lone two-year college at the event, which was won by Vassar College.
Sophomore Kalynn Wren (Salem/Salem High School) was Hudson Valley's top runner, finishing 53rd out of 124 runners. She covered the 5,000 meter course in 23:04. Malerie Tillman (Nassau/Columbia high School) finished 73rd and Sarah Popovics (Gorham, ME/Gorham High School) was 85th.
Hudson Valley will compete at Oneonta on Saturday, September 15.
