Sophomore Katie Wolfe (Colonie/Colonie High School) finished sixth out of 42 runners to lead the Hudson Valley Community College cross country team at the Region III Championship on Saturday in Canandaigua.
Wolfe covered the 5,000-meter course in 22:39 to earn All-Region recognition. Sophomore Alison Blaszkow (Whitesboro/Whitesboro High School) was second for the Lady Vikings and 23rd overall with a time of 26:18.
Hudson Valley will compete at the NJCAA Division III championship next Saturday, November 4 in Alfred.
