Mike Naylor of Albany has been named the head women's cross country coach at Hudson Valley Community College.
Naylor has more than 20 years of coaching experience. Most recently, he served as the head men's and women's cross country coach at The College of Saint Rose from 1998 to 2003. While at Saint Rose, Naylor coached the first runner in the program's history to the NCAA championship.
Naylor also has been the head track and field and cross country coach at Siena College, the head cross country coach at RPI and the head women's basketball coach at Schenectady County Community College.
Naylor replaces Colleen Ferris, who coached the team from 1999 to 2005.
