The Hudson Valley Volleyball team defeated #2 Adirondack in the conference semifinal but fell to #1 Fulton-Montgomery in the championship.
GAME ONE (SEMIFINAL): HUDSON VALLEY 3, ADIRONDACK 2 (25-17, 20-25, 25-21, 20-25, 15-11)
The Vikings fought hard against their rivals and the #2 seeded SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves. Coming out strong in the first set defeating the T-wolves 25-17 and not faltering after the second or fourth set to come out with the win. Abbigail Newell had 13 kills on 69 attempts along with 29 digs. Jordan Peacock contributed 19 kills on 43 attempts and Gabriella Kholstinin added 41 assists.
GAME TWO (CHAMPIONSHIP): HUDSON VALLEY 0, FULTON-MONTGOMERY 3 (4-25, 15-25, 17-25)
After a long battle against SUNY Adirondack the Vikings lost their momentum against top ranked Fulton-Montgomery. After the first set the Vikings fought to gain some ground but the Raiders were too strong. Peacock led in kills with 7 and Emily Coffey led in digs with 15.
