Volleyball Drops Home Match to No. 11 Fulton-Montgomery

The Hudson Valley Community College women's volleyball program dropped a tough three-set match to nationally-ranked Fulton-Montgomery on Tuesday evening in the McDonough Sports Complex.

As a team, the Vikings combined for 51 digs, two service aces, 18 kills and 18 assists. Defensively, Hudson Valley was led by Adriana Diaz Rolon, who finished with a team-best 22 digs with 38 service return attempts.

Regina Salazar-Ware posted another team-best 10 assists, while Elizabeth Baldes added eight assists over the course of the three sets. Abigail Newell finished with a team-high six kills.

The volleyball team will get back to the court this weekend as they travel to compete in the Jamestown pod as they will take on Genesee at 10 a.m. and Jamestown at 11:45 a.m. in Jamestown, NY.
