The Hudson Valley Community College women's volleyball team was defeated in straight sets at against Fulton-Montgomery on Wednesday evening in the McDonough Sports Complex on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College.
The Vikings combined for 11 kills, 9 assists and one service ace in the three-set loss to conference rival Fulton-Montgomery.
Leading the way for Hudson Valley's offense was Alyse Vogt, who finished with a team-high five kills. Alynna Kanaby, Alyssa Bruno and Lynette Okoth finished with two kills each. Riley McGinn recorded eight of the team's nine assists during the three-set match.
Upcoming Schedule
The volleyball team returns to action on Sunday, Sept. 19 as they travel to take on Mohawk Valley in Utica, NY. The next home match is Wednesday, Sept. 22 when they welcome SUNY Adirondack to the McDonough Sports Complex for a 6 p.m. scheduled start.
