Hudson Valley Community College women's volleyball (4-18) fell on the road in straight sets 3-0 (25-23, 25-21, 25-14) at Ulster on Monday evening.
In the three sets, the Vikings combined for 37 kills, 21 assists and 61 digs. Kirstin Wood (Colonie/Colonie) and Jessica Getty (Hartford/Hartford) led the Vikings attack with a combined 18 kills. Wood added 11 digs and Getty had four service aces.
Laura Grippin (Berne/Berne-Knox-Westerlo) had a big game for the Vikings as she finished with a team-high 24 digs. She also added a pair of service aces.
The Vikings volleyball team hosts Orange in their final match of the 2018 season on Thursday, October 18 at 7 p.m.
