Hudson Valley Community College women's volleyball (2-10) dropped their home match to Adirondack in straight sets 3-0 (25-6, 25-10, 25-23) on Monday evening in the McDonough Sports Complex.
In the three sets, the Vikings combined for 25 kills, 19 assists and 28 digs. Kirstin Wood (Colonie/Colonie) led the Vikings with seven kills on 16 attempts and 5 digs.
Shayla Pfendler (Ava/Adirondack) helped steady the offense with her 14 assists and Laura Grippin (Berne/Berne-Knox-Westerlo) led the Vikings with eight digs and added two kills in the three-set match.
The Vikings volleyball team is back in action this on Wednesday, September 26 as they travel to play Mohawk Valley at 7 p.m.
