Women's Tennis Closes Out Regular Season vs. Onondaga

The Hudson Valley Community College women's tennis team dropped its regular season finale at home 7-2 against Onondaga on Saturday afternoon. 

The Vikings Jacqueline Bornt (Wynantskill/Averill Park) won her match in straight sets as the team's number one seed. She defeated Micah Mixon 6-1, 6-0. Later, Bornt and Miranda Morrison (Colonie/Colonie) teamed up at the Vikings number one doubles team to defeat Onondaga's top team of Mixon and Kennedy Myers by the score of 9-7.

The women's tennis team will now travel to Onondaga for the NJCAA Region III Championships on Saturday, October 6-7.
