Hudson Valley's women's tennis student-athlete Jacqueline Bornt (Wynantskill/Averill Park) was named the NJCAA Region 3 Female Athlete of the Week for women's tennis. 

Bornt finished the week with an undefeated record as the Vikings No.1 Singles flight. She defeated two quality Region 3 opponents in straight sets against Onondaga and Broome. 

Jacqueline is remains undefeated with a 4-0 record as the Vikings top-seeded player and will be back in action on Saturday, September 22 when the team travels to play Mohawk Valley at 1 p.m.
