The Hudson Valley Women's Soccer team fell to Mohawk Valley 3-1 on Saturday.
The Vikings held the Hawks scoreless in the first half but just 10 minutes into the second, Mohawk Valley's Krista Panko scored the first goal of the game. The second and third goals came in the 73rd and 75th minutes scored by Panko and Isabella Kleban. The Vikings goal came in the 80th minute from captain Lauren Foglia. Foglia shot midway between the center circle and the top of the box and sent the ball right out of the keeper's reach. Despite the Viking's late efforts it wasn't enough to rally back against the Hawks.
The women look to their next game as they head upstate to face North Country on Wednesday, October 9th at 1PM.
