Women's Soccer Defeats Finger Lakes 5-0 in Road Win

The Hudson Valley Community College women's soccer team earned 3 points on Saturday with a 5-0 shutout win over Finger Lakes on the road.

Leading off the scoring was Brooke Naylor in the 17th minute. Naylor quickly added a second goal on the day in the 19th minute, she ended the day with 5 shots and 2 goals. The third goal of the day was scored by midfielder Katie Gross in the 37th minute, her third goal of the season. The final 2 goals of the game came from Lauren Foglia in the 66th and 86th minutes, Katelyn Visone assisting the first. Both goalies for the Vikings saw the field, recording a shutout on the day. Only 1 save was made by Lily Brennan on the 1 shot taken by the Lakers. The Vikings dominated across the field to defeat the Lakers 5-0.

Moving on the Viking's return home Saturday, October 5th as the welcome Mohawk Valley to the Outdoor Athletic Complex at 12pm.
