The Hudson Valley Community College women's soccer team defeated Corning 4-0 on Saturday.
Alison Rimes opened up the scoring, slotting a cross from Lauren Foglia to go up 1-0 in the 32nd minute. Katie Gross followed in the 24th minute converting a free kick from Maggie VanDyke. Gross had 2 goals on the day scoring her second on a through ball from Foglia. Foglia tallied a goal of her own with just 7 seconds left with a free kick from Abigayle Yetto. Meaghan Casabonne had a shutout in goal saving 6 of Corning's shots.
The women face Holyoke Community College on Wednesday, September 18th on the road at 4 p.m.
