The Hudson Valley Community College women's soccer team fell to Albany Pharmacy 5-4 at home on Wednesday.
The Vikings started the game off hot, going up 3-0 in the first half. Leading off the scoring was Alison Rimes, followed by corner kick finish by this season's leading scorer Lauren Foglia. Foglia had 2 more goals, converting a penalty kick and the other a rebound finish off the keeper. Keeper Meaghan Casabonne had 8 saves for the Vikings.
Albany Pharmacy's Julia Roemer scored with the 5 minutes left in the second half and Ka'ena Kehano rallied behind her teammate scoring the game tying goal with 3:17 left on the clock. Kahano earned the team a free kick 25 yards out and hit the ball just out of Cassabonne's reach to win the game for the Panthers.
