The Hudson Valley Community College women's soccer team was on the wrong side of a shutout as they were defeated 3-0 by Onondaga on Sunday afternoon at the Outdoor Athletic Complex on the campus of HVCC.
The Vikings fought hard for most of the game but gave up the game's first goal with 8:34 remaining in the first half of the game.
As the team came out of the halftime break trailing 1-0, Onondaga managed to score two more goals in the span of two minutes as they scored goals at the 34:23 and the 32:24 marks, respectively.
Hudson Valley returns to the pitch on Sunday, Sept. 8 they host SUNY Niagara at 12 p.m. at the Outdoor Athletic Complex on the campus of HVCC.
