The Hudson Valley Community College women's soccer dropped its latest home match 2-0 against the non-regional opponent, Southern Maine Community College at the Outdoor Athletic Complex on Sunday afternoon.
The short-handed Vikings played tough, allowing just one goal for the majority of the game while playing down one player. Southern Maine managed to score at the 86th minute of the game on a nice assist from the middle of the field, connecting on a shot from just left of the net and out of the reach out the Vikings keeper.
Hudson Valley returns to the pitch on Wednesday, Sept. 13 as they will travel to take on Tompkins Cortland at 5 p.m. in Dryden, NY.
