Bio

Coach Raquel Collier-Jennings enters her first season as an assistant coach on the Vikings staff.

Coach Collier-Jennings was a standout for Schenectady High School before securing an offer from Delaware State University, where she led the team into the NCAA Tournament in 2007. She was played four-years for the Delaware State Hornets from 2005-2008 and was named the Most Outstanding Player for the 2007 MEAC Tournament championship team, the lone title in program history. She is a two-time All- first team selection, she is seventh on the school’s all-time list with 1,481 points.

Following college, she played a year of professional basketball in Finland before returning home to the States to play for a couple of semi-pro teams in Chicago, Poughkeepsie and Savannah, Ga.

Coach Collier-Jennings was inducted into the Delaware State Athletics Hall of Fame on Sept. 18, 2015.
