The Hudson Valley women's basketball team was defeated by Community College of Rhode Island in their final game of the regular season on Saturday.
Captains Stylianna Mantzouris and Leah Pergola each had an impressive game for the Vikings. Pergola had 25 points while Mantzouris had 22, scoring mor than half the points for the Vikings. Abigayle Yetto trailed with 13 points and Myanna Faraj added 10 to the score.
The Vikings clinched third in the NJCAA Region 3 tournament and are scheduled to play either #6 Mohawk Valley or #11 Genesee on Friday, February 28th at Jefferson at 3:15pm.
