Women's Basketball Defeats Monroe-Bronx 81-48

The Hudson Valley Women's Basketball team defeated Monroe University-Bronx in their second game of the Northeast Cup Tournament.

Leading in points for the Vikings was Stylianna Mantzouris and Leah Pergola each with 17 points. Pergola added 10 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks to the score sheet. Myanna Faraj totaled 14 points and 5 rebounds off the bench for the Vikings. Overall the Vikings shot 51.0% in field goals, 40.0% in 3-pointers, and 80.6% in free throws.

The Vikings face UMaine-Augusta in the Northeast Cup championship game on Monday, November 11th at 4pm.
