The Hudson Valley women's basketball team was handed their first loss of the season by Kingsborough in the first game of the Northeast Cup Tournament.
The Vikings put up 94 points and captain Leah Pergola led with 28 points followed by Stylianna Mantzouris with 21. Forward Gracemary Baumann added 15 points for the Vikings as well. The women face Monroe University-Bronx on Sunday at 2pm.
