The Hudson Valley women's basketball team earned their first win of the season in their season opener against SUNY Orange.
The Vikings had a dominating performance in their first game of the season. Captain Leah Pergola led the team with 20 points, followed by Stylianna Mantzouris and Gracemary Baumann each with 13 points. The Viking's defense held SUNY Orange to 43 points on the night.
Looking forward to the weekend the team heads to the Northeast Cup Tournament hosted by Massasoit Community College. They face Kingsborough at 12pm on Sunday followed by Monroe University - Bronx at 2pm on Sunday, November 10th.
