Women's Basketball Falls to No. 11 Onondaga

The Hudson Valley Community College women's basketball program dropped a tough road game 90-65 at No. 11 ranked Onondaga in Syracuse, NY in Sunday afternoon.

The Vikings held close to the Lazers following a 16-16 tie at the end of the first quarter of the game. The rest of the way, the nationally-ranked Lazers took control of the game to pull away with a decisive victory.

Tylah Langley took control of the second half for the Vikings and scored 12 of her 14 points in the second half. Sidney Phillips played well and earned 11 points on four field goals made. Nya Ewans-Edmonds connected on six field goals for 13 points.

The women's program falls to 9-7 overall and will travel to take on a tough Mohawk Valley program this Wednesday, February 8 at 5 p.m. in Utica, NY.
