Hudson Valley Community College's women's basketball team couldn't keep up with a good Herkimer program as they were defeated on the road 77-66 in Herkimer, NY on Saturday afternoon.

The Vikings kept the game closer early, trailing 16-14 after the first quarter, but the Generals slowly pulled away as they continued to win each quarter by small margins to claim the double-digit victory. The Generals had four individuals finish the game with double-digit scoring and were led by Bradshaw and Imamura, who both scored 17 points on the Vikings.

Leading the way for Hudson Valley was Payton Graber (Schenectady/Schalmont), the nation's leading scorer, who finished with a game-high 26 points on 10 field goals, including five three-point field goals. Nya Ewans-Edmonds (Albany/Albany) also reached double-figures for the eighth time this season as she made eight field goals for 18 points.

The women's team returns to the court tomorrow, Sunday, January 22 when they welcome SUNY Adirondack for a 2 p.m start at the McDonough Sports Complex on the campus of HVCC.
