The Hudson Valley Community College women's basketball team dropped a tough match up 87-65 to Fulton-Montgomery at the McDonough Sports Complex at HVCC on Tuesday evening.

In a game which featured Fulton-Montgomery's five starters all scoring in double-digits, the Vikings struggled to keep up with the Raiders, which included a 25-6 third quarter, in favor of the Raiders.

Hudson Valley fought back late in the first half to pull within eight points, but in the third, their offense stalled as they shot 3-of-17 from the floor and only managed six points in the quarter.

Leading the Vikings offense was Payton Graber, who finished with 24 points in 8-of-23 shooting, including 4-of-15 from behind the three-point arc. Graber also finished with seven rebounds, six assists and seven steals. As a team, the Vikings had 29 turnovers, which results in 35 points off turnovers for the Raiders.

The Vikings return to the court on Saturday, November 19 when they travel north to take on North Country. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. tip-off in Saranac Lake, NY.
