Hudson Valley's women's basketball team (10-3) won their fourth straight game as the Vikings defeated Springfield Tech 114-81 in the McDonough Sports Complex on Thursday evening.

The Vikings high-scoring offense reached new heights by scoring a program-best 114 points for their fourth straight game hitting the century mark. Madison Graber (Schenectady/Schalmont), Hannah Kreiger (Brunswick/Tamarac) and Lyndsay Miller (Loudonville/Shaker) combined to score 65 points in the Vikings record scoring performance.

Graber led the charge with 23 points, scoring 14 points in the second half with 11 field goals made, including one three-pointer. Kreiger hit five field-goals from behind the arc as she finished with 22 points, with 16 points coming after the break.

Miller reached the 20-point plateau for the second straight game. Miller scored 14 of her 20 points in the second and third quarters to help the Vikings pull away from Springfield Tech early.

Caitlin Estes (Scotia/Scotia-Glenville), Taylor Engster (Troy/Catholic Central) and Hayley Jones (Catskill/Catskill) also reached double-digit scoring. Estes found herself in foul trouble and still scored 18 points despite not playing a minute in the third quarter.

Engster had a great game with 11 points and continued to be a triple threat as one of the Vikings best rebounders and offensive playmakers this season. Jones connected on six field goals, including a pair of baskets from beyond the arc for 14 points. Jones has now scored at least 10 points in the last three games.

Hudson Valley enters the holiday break and will return to action on Jan. 5-6, 2019 when they travel to participate in the NHTI Tournament in Concord, New Hampshire.
