Hudson Valley Community College women's basketball (8-5) dropped tonight's game at Columbia-Greene Community College 84-69.

The Vikings had three student-athletes reach double figures with Taylor Engster (Troy/Catholic Central) leading all scorers as she finished with a game-high 29 points. Hannah Kreiger (Brunswick/Tamarac) finished with 15 points, including three three-point field goals in the first quarter.

Asali Valentine added 10 points for the Vikings with a pair of field goals from behind the arc.

Tanisha Edge led the Twins offense with 28 points, while Casiris Ruiz and Daniella Weinschreider each scored 19 points in the win.

The Vikings are back home this Thursday, January 11 when they welcome Clinton Community College at 5 p.m. in the McDonough Sports Complex.
