NFCA reveals 2023 NJCAA Rawlings Gold Glove recipients
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc. revealed the 27 recipients of 2023 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Rawlings Gold Glove Award, presented by the NFCA, on Tuesday afternoon. The award recognizes nine student-athletes from each of the NJCAA Division I, II and III memberships.

Collecting honors in the infield were:
NJCAA DI – Sydney Kirby, McLennan CC (1B); Ellie Vance, Grayson (2B); Layla Thompson, Northwest Florida State (3B); Erin Plunkett, McLennan CC (SS)
NJCAA DII – Abby Beck, Murray State (1B); Kathryn Smith, Jones (2B); Kenzie Tuck, Murray State (3B); Lizzie Siverson, Parkland (SS)
NJCAA DIII – Shelby Wolf, Niagara County CC (1B); Maddie Bottineau, Anoka Ramsey CC (2B); Lexi Wood, Corning CC (3B); Emily MacGibeny, Rowan College SJGC (SS)

Recipients of the Rawlings Gold Glove Award, presented by the NFCA, were selected by the NFCA's NJCAA Division I & II All-America Committees, following regional voting to identify the finalists at each position. In NJCAA Division III, the head coach membership voted for the winners. The groups utilized fielding statistics and school-submitted video to closely examine finalists and select the winners at every defensive position. Any student-athlete that competed in the current championship year and was nominated by their head coach who is a member in good standing with the NFCA was eligible for consideration for this prestigious accolade.
