The Hudson Valley Community College softball team (10-7) lost to Genesee Community College (13-13) 8-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The Vikings struggled to get hits as Courtney McDonnell (Shenendehowa/Clifton Park) collected two of the four total hits in the game.
The softball team hosts No. 2 Herkimer on Tuesday for a doubleheader starting at 3 p.m.
