Cross Country Sets Personal-Best Times at Oneonta

The Hudson Valley Community College men's and women's cross country programs competed at the 21st annual SUNY Oneonta Airfield Invitational on Saturday morning at Fortin Park in Oneonta, NY.
All four Vikings finishers set personal bests in their respective races. In the women's race, Athena Seebald tallied her best 4K time by crossing the finish line at 18:21.6 and placed 21st overall. Rebecca Martin finished 33rd overall and added her own personal best time of 19:41.4.
On the men's side, Drew Schroeder placed 12th overall in the 6K race and tallied a personal best time of 21:16.1 in his first collegiate race of his career. Nick Ricciardi's personal best time was 26:28.5 and placed 42nd overall.
The cross country programs will take next week off and will volunteer at HVCC's annual Race Away the Stigma 5K walk/run on Saturday, Sept. 21st as part of the Hudson Valley Community College's homecoming festivities.
