Chuck Terry, of Albany, was named head coach of men's and women's cross country at Hudson Valley Community College. The appointment was made this week by Hudson Valley's Director of Athletics, Kristan Pelletier.
Terry finished his collegiate running career at SUNY Cortland where he graduated with a degree in recreation. Prior to his time as a Red Dragon, Terry ran for the Broncos of SUNY Delhi while completing his associate's degree in park and recreation management. An avid runner, competing in year-round road racing, he is a member of the Hudson Mohawk Road Runners Club and the Willow Street Athletic Club. Terry's most recent accomplishment is winning the 2009 Troy Turkey Trot 10k Road Race.
A Christian Brothers Academy graduate, Terry has several ties to the community which will help him and the program immensely in recruiting. Terry is a Recreation Therapist at New Visions in Slingerlands. He resides in Albany.
