Travis Cooke is coming off an 11-5-1 season where he earned Mountain Valley Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year honors. He became just the fifth head coach in Hudson Valley men's soccer history when he took the job in July 2006. In 2008, Cooke guided Hudson Valley to a top five ranking in the nation including a number two ranking for four consecutive weeks. Cooke has ten seasons under his belt with the Vikings and an overall mark of 79-69-10 as head coach.

Cooke was a standout player at Maple Hill High School, with his team earning two state championships. In his high school years, he also was a part of the Youth Olympic Development Program at the National, Regional and State levels. At the club level, his West Babylon Panthers team won the U17 National Club Championship in 2000. Cooke was also a part of the Adidas Elite Soccer program during his junior and senior years of high school before helping the University of Massachusetts to an Atlantic 10 Conference championship in 2001.

Cooke received his bachelor's degree from the University at Albany and currently lives in Castleton. For coaching certifications, he has the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and USSF 'D" license. Cooke also does soccer commentating for Time Warner Cable Sports.
