The Hudson Valley Community College men's soccer team faltered as they went up against Finger Lakes and undefeated Cayuga.
GAME ONE: FINGER LAKES 7, HUDSON VALLEY 1
The Viking's first game of the weekend got off to a shaky start as they went down 3 goals in the first 21 minutes of the game. Viking forward Camryn Curet answered in the 30th minute with an unassisted goal to get the Vikings on the board. Goalie William Brown fought to keep the Vikings in the game, saving 12 out of 19 of the Laker's shots. In the end the Lakers attack was too strong for the Vikings and the game ended 7-1 Lakers.
GAME TWO: CAYUGA 8, HUDSON VALLEY 1
The men's second game of the weekend was against undefeated Cayuga in Auburn, NY. The Vikings put up one goal scored by midfielder Michael Robyck in the 67th minute. Viking's goalie William Brown tallied 5 saves on 11 shots. Cayuga defeated the Viking's 8-1.

The team is poised to get back to its winning ways. The Vikings return home to take on Mohawk Valley at the Outdoor Athletic Complex on Saturday, October 5th and 2:15pm.
