The Hudson Valley Community College men's soccer team was defeated 2-0 against Fulton-Montgomery in Gloversville, NY on Saturday afternoon.
As a team, the Vikings accumulated five shots, including one shot on goal by Alex Miller. Fulton-Montgomery scored both of their goals on corner kicks, which they outpaced the Vikings on corners 6 to 2 and proved to be the difference maker in the Region 3 match.
Brennan Halbohm and Phenyo Ward each tallied two shots in the game and William Brown allowed just two goals with five saves over the 90-minutes he was in goal for Hudson Valley.
Up next for the men's soccer program is the final Region 3 match, a road game at Onondaga on Wednesday, Oct. 18 in Syracuse, NY. The match is scheduled to begin at 5:15 p.m. at Charles "Chuck" R. Wilbur Field.
