The Hudson Valley Community College men's soccer team closed out the non-region schedule with a 1-1 tie as they traveled to compete against Paul Smith's College on Sunday afternoon in Paul Smith's, NY. 

The two programs battled for nearly 70-minutes until the first goal was put on the board. Paul Smith's broke the scoreless tie when they hit a shot to the back of the net, inched by the Vikings keeper. 

About five minutes later, the Vikings retaliated with the game-tying goal as Ty Plumley collected the assisted pass from Anthony Rouse and converted for the score. 

The men's program returns home for Senior Day this Wednesday, October 19 when they welcome Onondaga. The match is set to begin at 4 p.m. at the conclusion of the women's match at 2 p.m.
