Men's Soccer Defeated at Home by Fulton-Montgomery

The Hudson Valley Community College men's soccer team dropped its home match 5-1 against a tough Fulton-Montgomery program on Wednesday afternoon at the Outdoor Athletic Complex on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College. 

In the opening half of the game the Raiders and Vikings played the first 25 minutes of the game at a scoreless tie, until the Raiders connected on a cross for a score in the back of the net. Fulton-Montgomery later connected for their second goal of the first half and entered the halftime break leading 2-0 over Hudson Valley.

In the second half, the Raiders tallied three more goals, but the Vikings were able to put a goal on the board at the 60-minute mark in the game as Anthony Rouse put a shot to the back of the net for the score. 

The men's soccer team returns to action this Sunday, October 2 when they host Jamestown at the Outdoor Athletic Complex on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College. The game is set to begin at 2 p.m., followed by the women's game at 4 p.m.
