The Hudson Valley men's soccer team traveled kicked off its Western New York road swing today as they traveled to take on Erie Community College in Buffalo, NY. The Vikings pulled away victorious with a 3-1 advantage over the Kats.
At the break, the Vikings and Kats were tied and one goal apiece before Hudson Valley was able to tack of a pair of second half goals to secure the win. Jack Goldman led the way with two goals, including the final insurance goal late in the match. Benjamin Pierson scored his first goal of the season to break the halftime tie of one goal each, putting the Vikings ahead 2-1.
The Vikings return to the pitch tomorrow when they continue their Western New York road trip with a 12 p.m. start at Niagara.
