The Hudson Valley Community College men's soccer team was shutout on the road in a 6-0 loss to Mohawk Valley on Wednesday afternoon in Utica, NY.
The Vikings fell behind nearly 10 minutes into the first half when the Hawks converted on a cross pass into the center of the box for the score. After a pair of successful penalty kicks by the Hawks, the Vikings trailed 3-0 and the score would remain the same at halftime.
Following the break, Mohawk Valley continued to put pressure of the Vikings defense and scored another three goals in the second half and secured the 6-0 win.
The men's soccer team is home this Saturday, Sept. 21 for the 2019 Homecoming Day and is scheduled to play Erie at 4 p.m. at the Outdoor Athletic Complex on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College.
