Men's Soccer Wins Second Straight with Win at Niagara

Hudson Valley Community College men's soccer (6-4) won their second straight game and closed out their weekend road trip with a perfect record after defeating Niagara 5-0 on Sunday afternoon. 

The Vikings were led by Sylvain Ngako (Yaounde, Cameroon/Lycée Technique Ekounou) and Ryan Willis (Petersburgh/Berlin) as the duo combined for three scores on the day. Ngako scored twice for Hudson Valley and played a big part in the team's weekend success. 

Willis added one goal and finished with three goals in the last two games for Hudson Valley. Michael Gosh (Guilderland/Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons) and Cetin Karaca (Guilderland/Guilderland) also scored for the Vikings to help keep momentum going strong. 

Nate Langlois (Colonie/Colonie) had a nice day in goal as he earned the shutout win and added three saves. 

The men's soccer team isn't back on the pitch until Thursday, October 11 when they host Bergen at 6 p.m.
