Lacrosse Garners All-Conference Accolades

The Hudson Valley Community College men's lacrosse team had four student-athletes recognized on the 2024 Mountain Valley All-Conference team, as voted on by the conference coaches.
Nicholas Rogers, Dominick DiPiazza, Carmelo LoPorto and Robert Adams all received the All-Conference honors as a result of their individual and team play during the 2024 season.
Rogers completed a successful sophomore campaign with the Vikings. He played in 10 games and scored 19 points on six goals and team-high 13 assists. Rogers finished with 26 ground balls and caused seven turnovers. In his career, Rogers tallied 21 points on seven goals and 14 assists and accumulated 57 ground balls with 16 caused turnovers.
DiPiazza was voted as one of the best defenders in the conference after he finished the season with 41 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers. He also added two goals and one assist, but his main assignments during the season were as a primary defender on the league's best offensive players.
Carmelo LoPorto was also a top defender in the conference, finishing behind DiPiazza in the conference voting. He finished the year with a team-best 22 caused turnovers and added 38 ground balls and two goals scored over the 11 games played this year.
Adams played in 11 games this season and accumulated seven points with three goals and four assists. He was the team's top long-stick midfielder with the ability to defend some of the better offensive opponents. Adams also tallied 20 ground balls and caused seven turnovers.
