Three Vikings Collect All-Region Lacrosse Accolades

The Hudson Valley Community College men's lacrosse program had three members recognized by the NJCAA Region 3 with All-Region accolades, as voted on by the Region 3 coaches.
Cole Duncan was named to the All-Region 2 team following a tremendous year where he the Vikings in scoring with 43 goals, 10 assists and 53 points. Duncan guided the program to its second straight Region 3 championship game, which they were defeated by Genesee on Saturday, April 27 in Batavia. Duncan scored three goals in the title game and was named to the Region 3B All-Tournament team. In his two-year career at HVCC, Duncan accumulated 68 goals, 17 assists and 85 points in 22 games played.
Anthony Palladino and Drake Kohler were named to the All-Region Third team as two of the best defenders from the HVCC program. Kohler has often received the role as the primary defender on the opponents best offensive threats and became one of the team's primary faceoff specialists towards the end of the year. Kohler played in 10 games this season and accumulated two assists, 43 ground balls and caused 15 turnovers.
Palladino was an All-Region specialist as a long stick midfielder. He played in all 11 games for the Vikings and tallied four points on two goals and two assists, while accumulating 38 ground balls, 10 caused turnovers.
