The Hudson Valley Community College men's lacrosse team earned a tough road win as they defeated Williamson College of Trades 11-8 on Friday evening in Media, Penn.

Freshman Cole Duncan had another big offensive showing as he led the Vikings with five goals, while Gavin Breen and Bill DiDonna each tallied a hat trick of their own, scoring three goals in the game. Matthew Calicchia was a main catalyst for the Vikings offense as he accumulated a team-best five assists.

In goal, Alex Ely allowed all eight goals by Williamson, but also saved a season-high 16 shots and helped prevent a comeback effort by the Mechanics.

Lacrosse returns to action on Monday, March 19 as they are scheduled to make up their previously postponed home game vs Mercer. The game is scheduled to take place at 4 p.m. at the Outdoor Athletic Complex on the campus of HVCC.
